The First Entry

This is the first posting on our new blog. I pray that God will use this discussion page to help us communicate the grace of God in some new and exciting ways. Look on this page for updates on ministries, issues in the modern church, general prayer needs, and conversations about the Bible. You will need to be a registered user of our site to contribute with comments or questions. We welcome your insights and don't mind a little disagreement here and there as long as it is done in an agreeable manner. I hope that you are challenged in your faith to think--think Christianly! In Acts 17 Paul commended the Berean Christians as being more “noble” than the Thessalonians. Why? Because they “received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” In other words, they weren’t about to be duped by a preacher that claimed to speak for God if his message didn’t align with Scripture. They were diligent in checking for error. They knew that there were spiritual “wolves” prowling and preaching their own version of truth. I want each of you to be able to discern spiritual truth from error so that you are able to recognize the wolves that are ready to pounce. May God's rich blessing surround you and may you be captured by His grace--Pastor Steve
